The association consist of both Jamaicans at home and abroad. We've embarked upon a mission to reconnect immigrated from Ocho Rios and surrounding communities who are currently living in various countries around the world. We are committed to establishing social and fund raising events both in Jamaica and abroad, creating the opportunities for us to rekindling old ties and establishing new bonds. We are committed to making a positive difference for ourselves and our home town communities.

A very special, warm and irie welcome to all residents, lovers and well-wishers of our beloved Ocho Rios Community. A special welcome to all subscribers and visitors to this blog. Thanks for your support and please continue to follow and support us in whatever way you deem necessary.

Our mission is to reunite Ocho Rios current residents and all its former residents now living abroad in various countries around the world. We as a group hope to accomplish this via effective social networking platforms, all other social medias available to us, collective & combined support from members of Ocho Rios social and business community, group members voluntary support, dedication and hard work.

The group has established a Facebook platform where its members are having fun, recapturing lost memories and sensationally reuniting virtually with lost family and friends. There are over three thousand members and the group is steadily growing. An annual convention is to be launched in Ocho Rios to host its members. The convention will be of a cultural and entertaining atmosphere. We are expecting the event to be characterized by long over due meaningful and strengthening bonds. We expect our members and the public to experience lots of fun, joy and laughter while communing and being entertained at this event.

The group is expected to get involved in community development projects with the hope of having a positive impact on variuos sectors of the entire community.

We expect this event to be well supported and successful as it is well needed and long over due. This blog will keep all its subscribers and viewers up-to-date on its development and achievements. We are appealing to all current and former residents to get involve and support this worthy venture. It doesn't matter where in the world you now reside. Please take the initiative to come forward and support a worthy cause for your home town comminity. If you are a member of the Facebook network community, we invite you to become a member of the group by typing in the name of the group in the search box and request membership. You may also subscribe to our Facebook community page as well. Updates on the group's activities will be posted there keeping you informed.
